Youth camp08' I'm back after a week or so! yippees;DD Just came back from my first youth camp on 13th december. It was a 4 days 3 nights camp. And that's my record! LOLS. Well, I really enjoyed it quite a lot, at least better than KOOL camp this year. This years KOOL camp didn't emphasize on teamspirit and rather our boldness! And it is boldness to go flying fox. on hearing flying fox, It really gives me the tremours... brrr... Hahax, shldn't go out of point. Ohkay, heres my story: Day 1;D In the morning I had to go to de gou's house for tea ceremony cause ah bing is getting married. I'm not close to them so I was reluctant but mom wanted me to go. So I had no choice. Then, the drink was... rose syrup and I drank only one seep. ROFL. De gou served us cheng teng and it was ohkay. We waited and waited and It was photo taking time...! Next we were rushing off so we didn't eat vegetarian lunch and went to see xiao yee at the women's clinic the wait was terribly long and we were a little late for youth camp. In church, I went to my group and sat with Joey the Kangi. She was really laughable cause she carried a huge LUGGAGE when it was only 4D3N! ROFLA. Heheee! Worse still, she can't even carry it up the buss and I had to help her do so. Hahax. Joey was naughty, she didn't want to play with me spotting game in the bus cause she kept on losing! Unfair. Anyways, we reached and gathered at the tiny winey canteen. Oh ya, my group is called romans and here's the list of people in my group: Jie en (TL) Joshua Lee(ATL) Joey Isabella Goh May-ann Yue Qun Sean Reuben Kam =[ERM] Bradley? Teck Leong Hari Brian Chang And I'm forgetting someone, ME! Hahas, anyway... we went to our dorm. I forgotten my dorm no, but it is second last one. I slept at the bottom and Juliana at the top. Joey slept beside me and bella diagonally beside me. and we playedteam bonding games like Jungle speed (yipee but I am lousy at it cause I tend to take the top of the thingy.). and we played ccat and mouse, the tapping hand thing and another funny game. Then we ate dinner and it was chicken wings with rice I think... And we had message. about evangelism. I learnt that God loves us with extreme measures as he sent his son down to die on the cross for us! When Jesus was crucified, all our sins were placed on him. How painful to God. I was really touched at that part. And the pastor called for an altercall . I din't go up but I felt a little tugging in me. ohkay. Now it is the 2nd day: YAWN. I woke up the 3rd in my dorm. Jelly knocked her head 3 times....hahax and we had breakfast. it was nasi lemak! how am I suppose to finish!!! Ohkay, I ate 1/3 of it. then it was sermon. About having a passion for evagelism and evangelism can't be forced.And we must be G.O.D - Generation of Destiny and must M.A.D- make a difference. altercall again. I din't go out cause I didn't need to. we played wet games but it was raining so we had to wait a little while. We played a few card games. I played some funny hand card game ( you have to form the picture with your hand with a partner) well, I was Joey as usual. Bella partnered with Phoebe and Matt partnered Jeremy. ohkay, and Bella won. So sad, Bella and jer were fighting and I was so relaxed cause I had nothing to do with it even when i was the one who was wrong in the game. Hahax. But it was boring after a while. I thought joey bella and may ann a hand game and they were crazy bout it when I got really bored of it. we played we games it the drizzle. The first game was against ? group. But I vaguely remembered Jed was in it cause I kept aiming on him. I think it is Diane's group. Anyway, we won that game. it was some dodgeball... the second game was some catching game... quite boring but me, bella, and joey was the survivors cause the guys didn''t dare push us out of the square cause pushing=touching. and another game was dog and bone. but we had to crawl instead of runand we were squating in the rain. with soapey water. ewww... and we won too! oh it was Leuven''s group. Then I think the next game was blanket game with a twist. Minwei was the game master and she will like say i want to see only your nose or something like that and we have to use the cloth given cover the othe pparts of the body to make it less obvious. Isabella and Zengyang of the other group were the snatcher and sadly isabella only got one. but we won. I din't do anything execpt think and make it more diff leke make the guy wear girls shoes... hahax. and the i didn;'t want the girls to go cause it is obvious that it is girls and there ar elesser girls than guys. so the whole thing, we all use guys. and the funny thing was, almost everything the other group guess, they all say, KRISTEL. I was like oh my gosh, is that and insult??? I look like a guy? LOLS. The last game was so critical thinking game. I really didn't like it! We lost la. Only one game. anyway, we were competing with Joash group. and playing game is not bout winning! And we took a goodie bath. then dinner. some smelly people still never bathe cause they say the toilet too crowded and charmaine only bathed for 1 day! then sermon again.about elisha and elijah. And pastor drew a line and asked us to cross the line if we really want to love God more than the world. I crossed and I started crying. cause I was really sorry to God that I didn't do my quiet time daily. Day 3: Good morning!!! I woke up so late(6.30) today and I slept on the top bunk cause I wanted to have a try... sounds weird... and we had sunshine games. we had to run round the place if im not wrong. we had QT again. and Jelly bumped her head once again. Breakfast was fat noodles. sermon: Fearing when doing evangelism. John 3:16 method of preaching the gospel. then we played games again. we ate lunch and then played dirty games. I went up the first round when me and joey had to go round the stick 5 times and and grab the bottle. we won! the second rround was Hari was suppose ti roll to the dirty spot and make himself dirty. I was grossed out. the third round was, joshua and yue qun was suppose to do the wheelbarrow walk and grab the bottle. we won but other groups cheated so start again and we lost. third game was hair game. Bella had to went her hair and fill the bottle.mayann didn't wanna wet her shirt=.=" so bella did everything herself and we won!!! I pity those guys with short hair... the 4th game was smsing game. see who sms the fastest. I was doing that game. The first group forgot to write name. I was the secong. Yippee but I added fullstop and extra... so... so embarrassed. the last game was eaing tomato game. Bradley did that and he was the slowest cause he hated tomato... Jonathan won. Big mouth eh? Ohkay... we bathe i think and we had dinner. then we had worship and praise. so long! but really fun. My foot was aching. Jiejie say i worship very funny;( then at 11, we had a break while theyu prayed for leaders and we worshiped 2 last songs again. Wow, praise the Lord man!!! then me, huilin and yuequn and jed played taboo. we had lots of fun but joey was like anti-taboo and didnt wanna play. I had to follow her back to dorm cause she wants to sleep sigh. we were the first to sleep in my dorm. embarassing but heidis doem, almost all were asleep. bell said i sleep really funny, I didn't use pillow... i hug it. yeah, when i use pillow, my ear very hot la.. Isabella was couting strips on the tree. LOL. She was telling me it was cool and water in styrofoam cup is cool. she's funny Last day;( we woke up early and played a treasue hunt game. a balloon was tied to the leg and it represents a life. I didn't die cause we allied (?) with all the groups except WHITE!!!!!!!! they were so scary. We were the winning group if im not wrong. then we packed the dorm and our things and had to go. i took my encouragement cards and yaaayy, i had 13 ++ of them! I sat with joey again and we chatted. I played thee spotting game and when i won she said she didnt wanna play but when she wins she wants to play so no chioce, give in the her, let her win lor. we waited in church for lunch and I played jungle speed with bella, Huilin, may-ann, glenn, dominic(?), bradley, Yue Qun. I was bad at it... hooho. I only can win bradley. But the guys were nice cause I had one huge stack of cards and they asked me to give them half. Haha. then we ate lunch and we gave out long beans to yuequn and some even over flowed and spilled. LOLS. I had no appetite so I ate 12 spoons of rice. the we set off to invite people in vivo to our church. I was with bella, joey, may ann, hari, joshua... and we split into mini groups. i went with bella. we were so elated when we manage to ask someone to come to church. he said maybe he will come on that day but he most likely will come on the musical. And he paid us 10 dollars and we said pay on the day itself. Yaaaayyyyyy. the second person was also a eurasian.... blabla. and we did 17 peo[ple and we were like so happy. Isabella said i was good but she wanted to talk cause she had sore throat. Yue qun said I was good ( not self praising) And wow, in the bus joey and i took photo and we cant take well. the man at the back offered us to help us take and I also told him bout the church service and my group in front was like waaaaooooo.... I hid quickly so embarrassing! but It was aa really wonderful experience. Then we had service and praiise. I was super tired so I fell asleep. It was a little boring =, no offence... My group won first and uncle choh san gave me a devo book called bondage breaker. Ohkay, he gave it to all p sixes. Opps, batteries running linw, I got to go... Mom's telling me to be quick.
